Smiles Foundation and BYJU’S in association with BSF Gujarat Frontier endeavours to create educational opportunities to the children of jawans and underprivileged children at border areas of Gujarat. On 27th April 2023, these children from under served communities were given tabs with BYJU’S e-learning education. Smiles Foundation, under the aegis of BSF Gujarat Frontier, have reached out to students who have benefited from this social cause. Education is the most powerful tool with which we can change the world and every child should be entitled to quality education. Under this initiative, we aim to help lakhs of underprivileged students gain access to education with an aim to ensure a good future for them.
The event was held under the guidance of BSF Gujarat Frontier IG Sh. Ravi Gandhi, BWWA President Dr. Prema Gandhi and Smiles Foundation President Dr. Uma Ahuja and Dr. Dhiraj Ahuja.

Navi Mumbai Police conducted Cyber Crime & security awareness programs as part of their Jagrut Navi Mumbaikar Abhiyan at CBD Belapur Gurdwara along with Smiles Foundation on Sunday 23rd April, 2023. Present at the function were prominent Guru Baba Harnam Singh Takaal, CBD Belapur Gurudwara President Jaspal Singh Sidhu, Gurdwara committee members & other Navi Mumbai residents.

Navi Mumbai Police, as part of their Jagrut Navi Mumbaikar Abhiyaan conducted a public awareness program at Pune Vidyarthi Gruh’s VidyaBhavan School at Nerul, Navi Mumbai in association with Smiles Foundation. More than 350 people consisting of students, teachers, staff and parents were present. The attendees were made aware of various cyber crimes, online frauds, hacking, cyber security, how to deal with such crimes as well as the new Police emergency number 112. It was an enriching session and eye-opener for many.

Today marked the successful completion of Mahalaxmi Saras 2023, an innovative program by UMED - MSRLM to help promote the products of Self-Help Group Women across Maharashtra. The stalls comprised of SHG women from Maharashtra as well as other parts of the country. Smiles Foundation associated with MSRLM, handed out certificates to these women and management trainees along with ACP Sangeeta Alphonso, MSRLM team, Dhiraj Ahuja, Shalini Vidhani, Poonam Kadam & Uma Ahuja.

Smiles Foundation, NGO based in Mumbai, under the aegis of Assam Rifles have given free e-learning education to the underprivileged students in Manipur.
Smiles Foundation, in association with Assam Rifles, Sudlife Insurance, Sacmi Engineering, Oxygen resorts and Ice College of Hotel Management honoured young sports personalities of the State of Manipur. Apart from honouring these young budding personalities, the youth were encouraged to take up sports and make the state and the nation proud.
Needy children, especially girl children were given Tabs with e-learning education program. These children were identified from far-off remote districts of Manipur. With a will to learn and become successful in life, these young children were given tabs with BYJU’S learning to aid them.
MANIPUR, has produced a remarkable number of sports personality, who have brought laurels to the nation and have set national and international records. With these achievements in our heart and to encourage talent and inspire young minds, the Sports and Education felicitation 2022 was held with a Vision of Sports and Education for All.

Dr. Pramod Sawant felicitated the meritorious students of GCET, NEET, IIT (JEE) and witnessed the Signing of MoU between Smiles Foundation, Inner Wheel Club Vasco and BYJU’s, organised by the Directorate of Education. Smiles Foundation, a CSR partner of BYJU’S has offered free BYJU’S online education to the underprivileged students of Government schools and Government aided schools at Goa in association with Inner Wheel Club of Vasco da Gama and Pioneer Global Projects aiming to support the children’s education, from 4th to 12th for a period of 3 years. Besides the academic education, coaching will also be provided to achieve JEE, NEET and other competitive examinations.

Go Green Initiative With NSG and Smiles Foundation
To commemorate India’s Independence Day celebrations, a special Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative was undertaken by NSG commandos Mumbai along with Smiles Foundation, Navi Mumbai. 10,000 saplings were planted and distributed across Navi Mumbai, Kharghar, Khalapur, Mahad and Amravati. They also distributed sweets and snacks to the Adivasi villagers, citizens and school children at these areas.
This initiative was undertaken considering the environmental issues like global warming, soil erosion, deforestation and to maintain a healthy balance in our environment. Commanding Officer of NSG Special 26, Col. Kirpal Singh, Dhiraj Ahuja and Uma Ahuja of Smiles Foundation were present along with others.

To commemorate India’s 75th Independence Day, Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Smiles Foundation, Navi Mumbai and NSG commandos Mumbai distributed flags, chocolates, sweets, healthy nutritional food and snacks, Mouthwash and mouth freshness sprays to the Adivasi villagers at Belapur and Kharghar.
With the Har Ghar Tiranga goal where the Tri-colour flag, a symbol of pride for every Indian will be hoisted at every house to celebrate the Amrit Mahotsav, NSG Commandos, Mumbai and Smiles Foundation distributed flags to over 800 Adivasi families at Navi Mumbai, epitomising national integrity and aspirations of every Indian. These were distributed at Phanaswadi and Sapewadi villages at Tiger Hills Belapur, Dhamole village and Golf course, Kharghar.

Navi Mumbai: In order to increase the sales of SHG products in urban areas, special attention needs to be paid to the quality, layout and packaging of those products. That is a notion.
Umed- Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission Chief Executive Officer Parmeshwar Raut expressed.
He was speaking at the inaugural function of the "Mango and Rice Festival" which is to be held from 20 to 22 to 2022 at *Vidya Bhavan School, Sector 18, Nerul, Navi Mumbai,* for the purpose of giving a fair market to the products grown by the women self help groups established under Umed. On this occasion, Deputy Director of Konkan Divisional Information, Dr. Ganesh Mule, Deputy Director of Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission Sheetal Kadam, Director of Pune Vidyarthi Griha, Vidya Bhavana Educational Complex Dinesh Misal, Initiator of Smiles Foundation Dhiraj Ahuja, President Smt. Uma Ahuja, Secretary Smt. Shalini Vidhani, Smt. Shefali Nair, Mr. Surjeet Singh were present.
While guiding the self help groups participating in the festival, Shri. Parmeshwar Raut said that local self-help groups should focus on improving the quality of their products. The products you produce are pure and natural and organic, but in order to increase their sales, their products should be beautiful and attractive to the customers. For this, producers need to study outside markets for their products. In order for the customer to re-purchase the purchased item, the customer's contact number should be recorded, the customer should be contacted, they should be asked for feedback about their product and accordingly change their product and increase the variety of products. Shri. Raut congratulated all the self-help groups.
The festival was inaugurated by the Deputy Director of Information, Konkan Division, Dr. Ganesh Mule by cutting the ribbon. He appealed to the people of Navi Mumbai to respond to this "Mango and Rice Festival" for the purchase of innovative items.
