Smiles Foundation has been started by a few philanthropic women, with the objective to help women and children in our society who are in need of support to have a healthy and safe life. Also with an objective to help our workforce or any support needed by authorities like NMMC, Police for smooth and productive functioning.

At The Onset Of the Pandemic, Smiles Foundation Took Up The Opportunity To Serve Humanity And Live Up To Its Foundations Objectives and we are still continuing to do so : 

​

• We have reached out to more than 5,00,000 needy families and are continuing our work of spreading smiles 

• To the underprivileged sections of our society - the Orphanages, mentally challenged children, HIV-affected children, Transgenders, Municipal Sanitation workers, jobless auto rickshaw and taxi drivers, Navi Mumbai postal employees, Adivasi villagers, migrant workers, unemployed TV artists, vehicle towing personnel and the Dabbawalas of Mumbai. 

• Giving insurance policies to domestic workers and Sukanya Samruddhi policies to the girl child,

• Providing masks, sanitisers, essential food grains and ration supplies to lakhs of   families during the pandemic 

• Cooked food packets to more than 800 people every day during the lockdowns,

• Initiating ambulance services during distressing times, 

• Providing free Oxygen Cylinders Seva to the needy, 

• Organising vaccination camps, 

• CCTV Cameras installations to help in Crime detection,

• Relief and rehabilitation initiatives at flood-affected areas of Maharashtra, 

• Health check-up camps,

• Creating job opportunities,

• Tying up with premium educational institutions to provide free online education to underprivileged students,

• As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Tree plantation drives and distributed flags to Adivasi villages

• Associated with UMED – MSRLM as part of Mahalakshmi Saras 2023, an exhibition that brings together lakhs of Self-Help Group women to display their local products and handicrafts.

• Education and skill development courses have already been provided to lakhs of deserving students

• Smiles Foundation has been distributing masks and sanitizers to the Police Department - Navi Mumbai CP Office, Police Stations, Anti Narcotics Cell, Cyber Cell, Crime Branch offices & Slums + High-Risk areas (Turbhe, Nerul, Vashi) across Navi Mumbai.

• We also distribute food grains, rice, dal, vegetables, oil, biscuits, fruits, chocolates, Protein snacks, flavoured yoghurt, drinking chocolate to children, masks and sanitisers to over 18000 families and also providing food to over 1200 people every day since the lockdown.

Areas covered are complete Navi Mumbai - Airoli, Rabale, Ghansoli, Mahape, Koparkhairne, Vashi, Turbhe, Nerul, Seawood, CBD, Kharghar, Taloja, Uran, Panvel, Shilphata and interior Adivasi areas of Kharghar hills & Chirner gaon-Uran... Mankhurd, Vikhroli, Jogeshwari, Mulund, Bhandup, Nalasopara and Thane plus orphanages at Koparkhairne, Nerul, Vashi, Sanpada and Lonavala. All these areas were possible to cover with the help of Navi Mumbai Police.
